When using an overseas cryptocurrency exchange for the first time, I think the first barrier is a deposit. Making your first deposit can be difficult and scary, but it's very easy once you get used to it. In particular, Bitget is more manageable to deposit than other cryptocurrency exchanges.
This article focuses on how to deposit Bitget, points to keep in mind when depositing, and what to do when not depositing.

Next, I will introduce the preparation before depositing into Bitget (bit get) and what I need to do.
First, let's register an account and verify your identity on the Bitget official website.
Since you can easily create an account and verify your identity, you can easily use the app on your smartphone, so we recommend downloading the app from the official site and registering.
Bitget has a currency in which you can deposit money.
Below are the currencies that can be deposited.
List of currencies that can be deposited:
The three most commonly remitted currencies in this list are BTC, ETH and XRP.
In particular, XRP is a currency created for the purpose of remittance, so it is recommended because the fee tends to be cheaper than other currencies.
If it is a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, it is possible to transfer from a bank.
However, most overseas cryptocurrency exchanges do not support the Japanese yen, so transfers from banks are not possible.
Bitget (bit get) is the same, and it is not compatible with the Japanese yen, so it is impossible to transfer from a bank.
When depositing money to Bitget, there are only two ways to transfer money from a credit card or a domestic cryptocurrency exchange.
Here, we will introduce how to deposit by credit card and electronic payment and points to note.
When you tap, confirmation items will appear on the screen, so please proceed. As you proceed, you will see a screen similar to the image below, so enter the amount to purchase and the btc deposit address you copied at the beginning in "BTC address or domain name".
I think that the most complicated thing is the fee when depositing.
The fee is approximately 3.8% of the amount you purchase.
Binance's fee is 3.5%, so Bitget is set slightly higher.
One thing to keep in mind when depositing with a credit card is that JCB cards are not supported.
Only VISA and Mastercard credit cards are accepted.
If you only have a JCB card, use Google Pay or Apple Pay to make a deposit.
there are times when the credit card number is not wrong, but there is an error, and you can not purchase virtual currency.
In that case, credit card companies often stop using overseas.
If you can't make a purchase even though your credit card number is not wrong, contact your credit card company to make it available overseas.
Next, we will introduce how to send money from a domestic cryptocurrency exchange to Bitget (bitget) and points to note.
The first step is how to deposit money.
This time, I would like to use coin checks for domestic cryptocurrency exchanges(even people who do not use coin checks do the same method).
There is no fee for sending money to Basic Bitget.)
However, remittance fees are required at the domestic cryptocurrency exchange from which the remittance is sent.
This time, the fee charged by sending money from Coincheck is 0.0005 BTC. In Japanese yen, it is about 3,500 yen.
The remittance fee varies depending on the exchange you are sending money to, so it may be better to check the exchange fee you use.
Be careful of the wrong remittance address. If you mistake the remittance address, the money transferred will not be included in the Bitget account. Besides, the funds do not return to you.
You will lose funds even though you have not done anything, so be careful not to mistake the remittance address.
When transferring money from a domestic wallet to an overseas wallet, it is often not deposited.
There are two possible causes:
If you make a mistake in the remittance address, you will not be able to make a deposit, but you will send money to a different place. So, it may be not easy to return funds, but I think it is good to contact Bitget or the exchange from which you are sending money.
There is a time lag in virtual currency remittance by all means. If the remittance address is not wrong, the remittance may be delayed. If the transfer is delayed, it may take 24 hours for the transfer to complete.
So, instead of being impatient if you can't send money, wait a day or two and try contacting Bitget or the exchange from which you're sending money if the remittance is not complete.
Please Note: If it is a small amount, it is recommended to deposit with a credit card! When depositing a small amount of 100,000 yen or less to Bitget (bit get). In terms of fees, credit cards are cheaper than transferring money from a domestic wallet to Bitget.
